You
Hi Sally,

I am currently studying Media A level and one of our units is 'Women in film'. I have read quite alot about you and I have decided to use your life and your role in film to demonstrate how the role of women in film has changed over the years. You have obviously made an impact in the film industry and I would love to hear about your experiences. What inspired you to change the role of women in film? How were you perceived in the beginning when you told people you wanted to subvert the stereotypical status of women in film? I would just love to hear it from you personally.

Thanks alot.
Liz.

Apologies for the delay in response. Sally Potter is currently away so will probably not be able to respond for at least another few days/week.

In the meantime please browse within the FILMMAKING and OTHER TOPICS forums where Sally has answered similar questions, many at great length.
