I am so pleased..
to have found this forum dedicated to one of my favourite directors. Forgive the gushing. I am not, I repeat NOT a member of the film industry. I am merely a cinephile (is that correct?) who ranks Ms Potter up there with Spielberg and Bertolucci. I found The Tango Lesson, Orlando, The Last Tango in Paris and The Sheltering Sky to be 3 essential films of the modern age; painful and inspiring to watch. I have watched each many many times and when they carry me out feet first I will be clutching my DVD of each in my boney, rigid fingers.
Sally if you ever show up in Toronto I would bring you jewels and rose petals to scatter at your feet.
